Rocky Toppled

It's been a while since Bama's given someone a good ol' fashioned booty-whoopin, and I can't think of a better team to deliver it to than the Vols. (Okay, maybe I can think of at least one other--but after the "handful" they've given us over the past five seasons, I'd settle for a one-point victory this year!)

What a great game. This has been quite a season. Who would have predicted Kentucky knocking off LSU last week, and Vandy's win over South Carolina today? With the way Bama's season is going, anything could happen. The LSU game in a couple of weeks will be VERY interesting indeed...

Now I can really relax and anticipate tonight's Auburn/LSU game. I actually do root for Auburn when they're not playing Alabama, and I've never been fond of LSU, so I'll be pulling for Tubby's Tigers tonight.

So--War Eagle and Go Tigers! (as opposed to Geaux Tigers!)

ROLL TIDE, y'all!

Congratulations! I watched most of the first half with Snapshot today. We both wondered... does ANYBODY like Tennessee?

NOBODY likes the Tennessee Hound dogs (who has a hound dog as a mascot for crying out loud)! So yeah!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL today. And just for tonight....WAR EAGLE.

But ya'll need to pray for poor Saban (or Satan as that girl calls him) he nearly had a stroke at least twice today.

Wow, what a wild finish to the AU/LSU game. It's rare that I stay up to 11:30 at night (especially when I have to get up early for church the next day), but it was worth it, despite the outcome. I hate it for Auburn, and am hoping we do not suffer a similar fate when Bama plays LSU in a couple of weeks.

And by the way, having gone to college in Nashville, I can attest that there are MANY Vol fans, although I have a feeling that Fulmer's fan base is shrinking.

Roll Tide...what a great game.

I too watched all of the Auburn/LSU game. It would have been a nice win for Auburn...but I wasn't all that sad...

Alex and I actually got to go to the game and sat on the 50 yard line 11 seats up. What an AWESOME game! We could not have picked a better game to see. Roll Tide!!! Maybe we'll end the streak with the other team you mentioned...

As much as they probably hate to admit it, Auburn needs Bama to beat LSU. So you Aubie fans, prepare to give a big "Roll Tide Roll" in a couple of weeks!

Why is it that, even though I only heard it a couple of times during this game (not every other play like most games), I still have "Rocky Top" stuck in my head? Every October it seems to inhabit my brain and I just can't get rid of it. SO annoying!

Wow Tara, that is fantastic that you got to go to the game (and with such superb seats to boot!). What a blessing. I know y'all had a wonderful time!
