Review: The Weekly Calling

Taking a bit of a departure from the usual book review, my latest review is for an e-newsletter. The Weekly Calling, published by the folks at The High Calling, features articles focusing primarily on how God impacts our daily work lives.

Some of the recent articles cover topics such as management styles, servanthood, gratitude as business strategy, and dealing with difficult co-workers. For the most part the articles are brief and easy reads but still meaty enough to provide some challenging food for thought. There seems to be a wide variety of contributing authors to keep the content fresh and interesting.

As someone who often struggles with my attitude at work and sometimes forgets to view work as a place of ministry, I'm finding that The Weekly Calling is a very timely resource for me. If you're likewise looking for a boost in your work attitude, you may find it helpful and encouraging as well. You can click here to learn more and subscribe.

I suppose it is a poor reflection on my attitude that I work from home 600 miles away from my office, and still find myself really frustrated with work on a fairly regular basis. : ) I like the idea of smaller chunks of info. I'll check them out.
